ESOTERIC ASTROLOGY STEP 3

At each Step we bring into focus a universal symbol to explore the zodiac; this method allows us to grasp the meaning of the different components of astrology in a natural way. Normally, it would take years to learn and understand the system of this traditional science, and even more years to capture its deep meaning. As a matter of fact, we are penetrating, since the very beginning, the mystery of the symbols; in this manner, all the laws of the astrological mandala are intuitively assimilated by our minds.

This is possible because I am entirely convinced that symbols are alive in our deep unconscious; the archetypes, according to the Jungian theory, use symbols dynamically. Inspired by Jung and Plato, I discovered that the student does not have to ‘learn’ the items of astrology; he or she only has to discover and recognise them, the psyche does the rest of the work. ?Inspired also by Socrates, my purpose is not so much to teach, but to help my students remember what they already know. This, by the way, has a healing effect in our mind; but this is only a bonus.

This step we are expanding the knowledge acquired in Steps 1 and 2 about the system and signs of the zodiac; we are introducing the meaning and function of the 10 planets in the different signs and houses of the natal chart. The symbols that will direct us this time are the ARC, the ARROW and the BRIDGE; these three will help us discover a unique reality. And, of course, the symbols of the previous steps, the TEMPLE and the TREE, will accompany us and helps us to integrate this new level. The main reason of exploring these signs, (ARC, ARROW, and BRIDGE) is that they can be very cinematic and reveal the dynamic forces of the natal chart that the planets represent. We are going to walk, move around and connect different aspects and dimensions of the natal chart. Moreover, myths and rituals will illustrate the nature of the different planets.

A SUMARISING AND EXPANDING THE CONCEPTS OF THE PREVIOUS STEPS

aFrom the knowledge of Sacred Geometry and Architecture, associated to patterns in the Zodiac of the numbers 2, 3 and 4 (binary, ternary and quaternary rhythms) we are going to explore the system of the Houses in the natal chart.

bThe difference between a House and a Sign in astrology

B WHAT ARE THE PLANETS AND WHAT IS THEIR FUNCTION?

aThe planets in the ancient tradition and in modern astrology.

bThe difference between a sign a planet.

cWhy the planets rule the signs?

dThe planets and the myths that reveal them.

eThe planets are the angels of the zodiac. Do we know how to recognise and honour them? Sharing my vision.

C THE SYMBOLS: THE ARC, THE ARROW AND THE BRIDGE.

aHow can we see them in the natal chart, what is their function?

bHow are they connected with each other and how are they are associated to the TEMPLE AND THE TREE?

D WE CAN UNDERSTAND THE DYNAMICS OF THE NATAL CHART RELATING THE PLANETS WITH THE SYMBOLS (ARC, ARROW AND BRIDGE).

aNow that we understand the meaning of each sign and each planet, we can naturally deduce the meaning of a planet in each of the twelve signs.

bThe planet in any of the signs is actually a mystical revelation.

E CONCLUSION: THE REAL KEY OF THE ZODIAC. INTRODUCING JUPITER AND SATURN FOR THE NEXT STEPS.
