KYOTO WORKSHOP FOR JUNE 2016

SECOND STEP

In the introductory course we became acquainted with the basic concepts of astrology; the sacred symbol that guided us to integrate the meaning of the system and the language of astrology was the TEMPLE.

In the second course we will learn to recognize the nature of each of the 12 signs of the zodiac; we will explore the gift, the drama and the mission of each of those signs. We will explore the myth of every Sign of the Zodiac. This will provide us with a better understanding about the people we know, family, partners, friends, colleagues, even unpleasant relationships (foes), or relations in crisis.

Although our essence is the expression of only one sign, our Natal Chart is composed by the other eleven signs of the zodiac, this means that we always share something in common with the other eleven signs. To become a real individual we have to integrate the whole zodiac in ourselves. Our natal sign (Solar Sing) represents the way in which we are going to do it; our Natal Chart shows the weapons we have in order to perform the task of becoming an integrated individual.

This time the sacred symbol that is going to guide us along this voyage of discovery will be the TREE. And, of course, we will keep expanding the knowledge of the temple and, most important, we will find out how these two symbols, the Tree and the Temple, are connected.

The Tree and the Temple are symbols associated to ritual and revelation. The knowledge of the Natal Chart is a gradual process of initiation. In each course we keep introducing symbols that will us to discover our essential being.

(NB. The symbols for the Third course will be THE ARROW AND THE BRIDGE.)
